Membership

If you are interested in learning more about St. Andrew, our ministries, and membership, Second Sundays is the first step. God made us to be in community with one another. Church membership is a commitment in which the church promises to support you in your Christian walk as you dedicate yourself to a faithful Christian life. Whether you are joining a church for the first time, or transferring your membership from another United Methodist church or a church of another denomination, we would love to welcome you into our church family.

You can learn more about membership at our Joining Day Luncheons, which are scheduled several times a year on Sundays from 12:00-1:15 p.m. This relaxed-setting luncheon will give you the chance to learn more about St. Andrew, meet St. Andrew staff, and get to know other new members. You will have the opportunity to take the vows of membership together at the conclusion of the luncheon by accepting your belief in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior and committing to serving this church through worship, connection, serving and giving.

Baptism is an important part of church membership. If you have not been baptized, we can arrange this with you personally prior to joining. For more information on Baptism, click here.

If you are interested in membership but are unable to attend the luncheon, contact Cynthia Beets, 214.291.8021 for more joining options.
